In Time
I sat wondering if I could move
Not physically but of Mind
Of Space and of Emotion
And maybe even of Time
I knew not what I wanted
Only that I wanted to go
To escape – a run of color
Too fast for you to hold
Sometimes I feel so far away
Other times so stuck right here
Yet in my mind I can imagine
The life I wish were near
Do you see me as I see myself?
Are we two not but one?
Because at times I feel so stuck
– it seems –
My life has not yet begun
But one day I’ll be able to move
Both physically and of Mind
And you’ll see me as I see myself
I’ll accomplish it all, in time.

What a nice poem.
ReplyDeleteMuy fantastico.
Pues, muchas gracias. :-) Glad you enjoyed it
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered changing the title of your blog to something different? Perhaps something a bit more symbolic? I don't mean any offense, just constructive criticism. (The peom is truly wonderful.)Anyway, what exactly is the theme of your blog. I think that the theme of "life" is much to broad and is making your blog a bit too random. You should really narrow it down.
ReplyDeleteNot offended. It's a valid point, and one I've considered myself as I write more and determine for myself the true nature of the blog. At the present moment "life" is symbolic of the fact that there are many facets of one's life that create individual and unique experiences; I think all are valid and important in your approach and discovery of life and that the dimensions creating insight and intrigue vary constantly. For now, those sorts of daily differentials are what I'm beginning to uncover for myself, here, in this blog, at the same time discovering the curious nature of my readers. I do hope to align the two a little more definitively in the future.
